The
Task
You
need to research a biome of your choice. You will present the
information you have gathered by typing a report, giving an oral
presentation, and constructing a diorama.
The
Cover Page
Your final report will have a cover page with the
title of your biome, one picture of your biome (the picture can be of a
plant or animal), your name, and your class period. You may choose the
type and size of font ONLY for the cover page.
The

of the animals and plants in your biome. It needs to be typed double spaced with a font
of Times New Roman 14, and no longer than four pages.

other interesting facts, include them in your report.

The
Bibliography
The bibliography will be the last page in your
report. You will need to have at least 3 reference book resources and 3
Internet resources. The bibliography must be done in correct format,
and the font type and size should be Times New Roman 14.
Oral
Presentation
When you give your oral presentation in front of
the class, you will need to use notecards. You will not be allowed to
read from your report.
Diorama
Your diorama will depict the animals, plants and
climate of your biome. You will work on your diorama construction in
class. I will supply you with construction paper and glue. If you want
to bring in pictures, they should be sized appropriately for you
diorama. If you want to bring in plastic animals, sand, rocks, or any
additional materials to add to your diorama, feel free to do so.
The animals and plants in your diorama do not have
to be the same as the ones in your report.
