1955 Red Schwinn Deluxe Racer

This used to be my car bike.  You know.  The kind you ride somewhere when you know you will be getting a ride back in a car with a small trunk.   It is a lightweight frame for a three speed that originally came with 26 X 1 3/8 S-6 rims.  The rear wheel now is a Schwinn S-7 with a Red Stripe Bendix coaster brake hub.  The front wheel is a light weight mountain bike rim with a knobby tire.  The kickstand is bolted on.  The newer pedals have reflectors.  The seat is a Messenger.  All parts except the pedals, front wheel and kickstand are Schwinn.  Serial Number is U11884.
